So I had gotten 15 chicks about 7-8 weeks ago, and two of them were silver laced polish chicks. They all arrived a day old, the other breeds were rainbow, barred rock, salmon favorelle, New Hampshire red, and americauna. But, the day that they arrived, one silver laced polish chick didn't even last the night. The second seemed to be doing better, but ended up dying two or three days later, even though we supplied them with food, water, and a brooder. I had read that polish chicks are very fragile as babies, but if I were to get more polish chicks in the future, what might I do to ensure them living?
