Is there a way to sex young ducklings apart from venting? They are 2 weeks old. I will post pics soon!

You won't really be able to sex them until they get their "quack" and/or adult feathers. Hens will have a very loud distinct "quack" and drakes will sound like they have something in their throat. Drakes will also get the "sex feathers" - the little curl right above their tail.

Oh, and some you can sex by color when they get their feathers in. I'm not familiar with the trout color so I don't know if that is one that can be color sexed.
