I just ate THE most fascinating bowl of oatmeal.
I don't usually eat oatmeal but this was one of those little packet ones that is almost pure sugar so I did. I was looking through the packets and there was like banana, brown sugar, maple syrup, and giraffe. Being the person I am I immediately chose giraffe. The directions said 'pour into bowl. Add up to 1/2 cup of hot water. Stir to find adventure animals.' So, I dump the little bag of oats and sugar dust into the bowl. I microwave(coz I'm lazy) some hot water and pour that in. I re-read the directions and begin to stir. 30 minutes later I'm sitting at the kitchen table furiously stirring a bunch of water which had started to turn white. After a while I'm starting to get a little suspicious. I'm not seeing any animals and I AM stirring. I re-read the directions. Maybe I just wasn't stirring hard enough...10 minutes later I am whipping that thing like I'm trying to make butter. Bowl is rocking back and forth, spoons are becoming a blur, small white drops are covering everything in sight. I stop and wait for the now paint-like liquid to slow to a mere 'whirl-pool'. I stir slowly in the opposite direction hoping to attract any 'adventure animals' in the immediate vicinity to the surface. Nothing. I did, however, find several small, white, raspberry-filled, malted milk balls. I chew on one, trying to decide if these were the 'Adventure Animals' spoken of on the directions.
Severely disappointed, I eat leftover spaghetti.

It's actually really fun to clean the kitchen if you force yourself to balance a broom on one leg the entire time and not let it touch the floor
Ya know what we need? We need a gumball machine. I would install a nice heavy spring in it and when somebody (Specifically Joshua) comes along with a quarter it's shoot 'm. Even better, if I found a motion sensor! Oh boy...this I gotta do...
