apparently it has been going on for like almost 30 years! I saw an ad here on BYC, start talking to my mom about seagull sounds on a bird app, and she's like "yeah, sound cool"

It's weird how it shows robots now on "who's online" like, Firefox and bing robots

Also, you literally go out to the beach and beckon the seagulls closer with french froes and tortillas, and bread, and you make seagull noises.....
