That's good that there was only a few with pasty butt. Poor things with cross beak Will they be ok? I don't know much about cross beak :/

Yep. Yeah. It doesn't seem to be bothering him yet but I'll keep an eye on him and if it seems he isn't doing well then I'll cull him. :/ But one out of 125 ain't bad.

Yeah, I have the vertical ones too. I put a hole in the ply-wood lid on my chicken tractor and put the nipple waterer in the bottom of a bucket so that I could set the bucket right on top of the tractor without having to mess with hoses. Did you use a bucket or a hose/tube thing?

Poor little fuzz ball.... One off my go-to chicken people had an ee with SEVERE cross beak, and she lived for 4 years. Died of cancer - and she had the zszsame name as my sister
