Same here. @-@

Okay, so, Toby is a really good dog, but he has some bad behaviour. He's possessive over food, to the point of biting and snarling, and he'll bite if anyone checks his skin problems.
I've been working with him these past two/three days, and today I'm really proud because he's showing so much improvement. He's letting me put his hands in his food bowl and letting me touch him whilst he eats, I can check all of his skin problems without even a snarl, and now he can use our dog flap! I'm just so proud of him. :3

XD

Because I have two dogs? XD[/Quote

I have a tip on helping with a dogs food aggression, of course I don't know your dog or your situation. But hand feeding a dog that has mild food aggression is a good way to get him comfortable around others while he eats. He will realize you are the giver of food not the taker. Just a thought. I'm CP's mom and we have Nino. His food aggression is very mild and hand feeding is doing wonders. Of course I dont know your age. I dont let my children do it, only myself. But maybe look into it :)[

Howdy CP's mom!

Yup, that definitely works! I've been feeding Toby little bits of food by hand every day. :3

At mealtimes, I also make him sit, then I put a small handful of food in his bowl (so he knows I'm giving him food, and so that he doesn't scoff it all at once :p ), I make him wait for permission (teaches him that I'm the boss), and then I pet and praise him whilst he eats it. XD

It's not really a lot, but it's working - and I think he likes me, because he won't stop following me. :lau
