Part of me believes in God but part doesn’t. We’re only supposed to worship God but that sounds selfish. And what about Muslims? How do we know our God is real but there’s isn’t ?

I can assure you that it's not selfish.
And if you believe that God sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to die in the cross for all of humanity. (AND ROSE AGAIN ON THE THIRD DAY.) If you believe that, you will spend all of eternity with your passed loved ones, and THE CREATOR OF THE WORLD! Isn't that utterly AMAZING?!

I can assure you that it's not selfish.
I think of muslims as a "copy-cat" religion. They think Jesus was a mere prophet when he was not, he was the SON OF GOD. And if you believe that God sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to die in the cross for all of humanity. Look around. Do you think everything happens by chance? No. Our Heavenly Father created everything. (See Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth.")

Things happen in life that can be sad or depressing. But do we think it is by chance? Or mere bad/good luck? No. As Christians we know that trials of this life are all providential and God allows things to happen because it is His will and we might not always understand it but He has a purpose for EVERYTHING.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:2

Why wouldn't we want to worship the God of the universe, the One and ONLY God who created you and me?! The Lord who died on the cross to take away our sins and rose again on the third day?! <----- And no that isn't a fairy tale, it is and was true.
