Troyergals Chat Thread!!!

Lol I wasn't sure which one it was... My guess was wrong :lau Well maybe they will start peeping soon :)

 It was a good guess, wrong but a good guess :P
Maybe. They've still got till the 28th before they need to come out and dicklings really love to take their sweet time. (Unless they're my first batch who internally pipped on day 24 externally pipped on day 25 and were out by day 26.)

But I'm not handy.
At all.
My grandfather built the coop I have now.
I can build kits.
Not coops from scratch.

ETA I found one earlier for $120 that will fit my breeds ;)

Sorry for not responding sooner :he my mom was telling me that I had to get off of BYC because it was so late and she didn't even allow me enough time to respond to anyone.

Could you post a link to the coop you found for $120?

I really suggest you build the coop yourself, Cluck (well, not all yourself, but you get the idea). It might cost a little more, but I think it'll last way longer than kits if you build it well....

X2 it only takes 300 to 400 dollars to build a coop that would hold about 50 chickens. (If free ranged.)

My dad built our coop. I'm not exactly sure how much it cost, it was more than a kit, but it'll last way longer than one. It's designed for up to 16 large chickens if free ranged.

Nice!
My dad built ours some 18 or 19 years ago, it'll hold around 30 to 40 free range. We'll doing tractors for the chicks, they're easier.
