Hrrrmm.... Silkie, right?
Not specifically that chick. Though, a classroom teacher hatched some chicks that we are responsible for taking home when the class is down with them, and a few of them are silkies. And there are also the silkies eggs that are under Stromy that are about to hatch very shortly.


Wow.... I have not been updating you guys on what has been going with anything... I have four broody hens in total... Cochin (that's her name [which is the hen that hatched that specific chick]), random cream legbar that has no name, BoBo, and Stormy.

One time my horse tried to hop the fence (we have one strand of electric fence, and he cut the skin wide open... Flopped the skin right over. He was in a lot of pain.
Dad keeps all his useless junk out in the far corner of the pasture... I think she might have picked her head up too close to one of those old gunracks. :/ But almost the whole thing is fenced with Barbed wire, so it could've been that too.
