So last year I had some volunteer winged squash come up and I guess it must've crossed with my summer squash cause on this years volunteers the fruit is mush smoother, almost like a straight neck and instead of growing like a vine like last year it's way more compact, like a summer squash. I guess we'll see how it ripens.
