Troyergals Chat Thread!!!

His hocks are perfect... not quite but I like them... A little straight from the hock but not bad, Shoulder is level with the hip, along with that top line... I like him.
Awwwwww

You need to frame that pic. lol.
:D Thanks. He sort of has cheeks. He is kind of stocky. His dad and mom are both fairly stocky.

That's a really good family picture!
She's going to be a nice size as well.
Ben makes pretty babies!!
My husband (Harold) would love to get his hands on a goat Ben's size. Something to do with the letters BBQ. I have never had goat, other than their milk, and quite frankly I may be a little scared to try it.
Ok...that was a weird subject after seeing cute goat pictures.

I like babies, and he likes meat. :D
Goat meat is the best, most if it is red and very tender... Only if you butcher under age 2. 13months is best, Also always better if raised on mostly grass and hay with very little grain.

There is a farm that found not wethering the kids before butcher helps them grow... You just have to butcher before rut and at 8-10months. They will grow a whole lot faster than a wether.
:love:drool

Yeah!! :drool

Yeah. Thanks :D me too.
Yep! Indeed he will. I really really want to see what he'll throw with Daphne.

She is...:love:love:love

My dream (other than a pure brown goat) is dapples on shoulder and white everywhere else... so pretty.

But also she looks kinda strange to me in these pics.... Just the way she is standing.

Thanks :D

I should!

Well, that's just a rough estimate with a tape measure. It could be off and he could weigh more.

I can't wait. :drool.

Yeah! Awesome! Looks like I've got you beat. :p

That was back in may, we were having problems with worms and mineral deficiencies, made her hunch over some. I can try for a better pic later today.
