Considering that though, they're pretty dang amazing. There's a bit of gold/yellowish in their hackles, but not a whole bunch. The boy looks like he oughta fill out really big too, huh?



Oh yes he is. XD I don't know what his deal is, if he's just lazy or if he actually STILL doesn't trust me (which I kinda doubt XD)

Yeah! I was pretty happy with the mistake. Yes, they do have some leakage but the lacing is really nice, especially on the pullet. Yeah I think he’s going to be pretty big. He’s just now starting to put on weight but sizewise he’s as big as my Ranger rooster who’s 15-20lbs. They’re only 6 1/2 months old, she started laying at just over 6 months and has laid almost daily.

It was mostly my fault, tbh. I tied a bag to his saddle, trying to de-spook him a little bit, but... Erm, it was WAY too soon after we got him to do that. :/ The wind blew the bag up and he ran me over, probably stepped on my head for all I know. Everyone at church kept asking dad why they didn't shoot him - Like really guys what the heck.
