Truck Cap coops/runs

Egg-cellent, LOVE the picts. I had been thinking about a tall building with the cap as the roof... or a tractor under the cap.... don't know WHY it didn't occur to me to do a raised coop like yours.

My one-track-mind needs a good de-railing now and agan.
Now that I've seen yours, I'm thinking that would be a better way to go.

Thanks. I didn't use a cap though. I just think it would be an awesome idea. I wish I had one.

This coop is 4 X 8... This is for my laying hens. I didn't have a pen for just eggs to eat. So this is it..

I get my thought straightened out on here too... HEHE

Looks good egg-cellent! I've been itching to start my next coop but as you know neighbor, it got cold in Kentucky.

We finished this the day it turned so cold. But I don't like the door/flap idea. That was my husbands idea. So we are going to change it. I will take some more pics today.

It sure got them out of the weather though. We built it close to our garage, so I have a cord coming out of the bottom of the garage, no holes cut in the garage and a light into that coop. Worked great.
