I purchased these little ones today. The lady I bought them from said they are Ameraucanas, but I wasn’t too sure about that.

They are likely Easter Eggers. Ameraucanas are specific coloring only and follow a breed standard and usually cost about $20 a chick. They lay blue eggs and their coloring and egg laying ability breeds true from generation to generation. Easter Eggers are often bred from ameraucana and they can look very similar, they come in a variety of beautiful colors, and they lay green, blue, pink or brown eggs. 😊

You've probably got Easter eggers there. I like them because they are friendly, never know what they lay, their coloring, good layers.
I don't like them because they are always represented as ameraucanas by hatcheries and private sellers. Probably a thousand times a year a thread like this is started. We've all been there at one time or another. They are great birds if your not specifically wanting to breed. I used to breed blue black splash. I had some that came with actual papers documenting their lineage and took several years to find excellent stock to start with.
Some of my current are black pendesencas and spangled Russian orloffs. If you want quality birds you'll probably have to search out breeders that are active in showing and promoting the specific breed and color your looking for.

Where did you buy them from?
Because that's going to tell you what you've got.
A breeder? A hatchery? A random person down the road?

I agree it's extremely likely that they are EE.
Pretty chicks nonetheless.
