Just starting to play around with chickens as i "inherited" a small flock and want to say what an amazing place this is! All the knowledge shared on here has been a blessing and am looking forward to our new adventure! Who knew one could be so attached to "Yardbirds"!

Are you actually in Muskogee? Trying to find out what the local ordinances are for chickens/rabbits. We are rural but inside the city limits. (unfortunately). We are also having trouble with a neighbors dogs getting loose and killing hens. Can't find anything useful on the city's site.

Haven't had much chance to browse this site yet but has been interesting so far. We are new again to the chicken world. It's been many years since we last had any. Have already enjoyed them immenseley though. They have a way of becoming a friend and hitting your soft-spot.
