Your 2025 Garden

I didn't do anything in the garden today. It rained -- some, not a lot, but I'm happy for any of it -- so I did indoor things and went grocery shopping.

Tomorrow, I wage war on weeds!

This evening I blanched and froze 7 bags of squash, two of beans.

And I didn't even touch today's harvest!

Today I need to mulch the heavy soil garden to conserve the moisture from the wonderful rain we got yesterday and last night! After that, we'll see what else I get done. I have to bottle a batch of 'booch too.

Petunias are blooming in the greenhouse.

Moved a Northern Exposure to the garden and found these.

I picked both tomatoes before I planted it. I immediately ate the smaller one which was extremely good.

The sweet potato sprouted!!!

Yep. Sure looks like a pumpkin.

The second "volunteer" has had nothing but male blossoms...until today.

Frozen squash, and beans, and a few bags of green peas, too.

That's two 2.5 gallon zip bags, stuffed with vegetables!
