I read somewhere that GLW roosters only have lacing on their chests. Is that true at six weeks? I have one with lacing on her back feathers as well and I'm hoping that means she's a girl.

(by the way, I know she should have a rose comb, as we have two big GLWs with gorgeous big rose combs, but I love her anyway.)

I am going out on a limb... she looks like a she to me. the comb is yellowish not reddish... she would have I'm sure had a red comb by now had she been a roo. I'll bump you... see what others think...

I'm kinda up in the air about that one. Is she/he hatchery stock? In my experience usually only girls have lacing on the back/wings at that age, but with hatchery stock that can be thrown out the window sometimes. And those legs do look a little thick...but, I'd expect a little redder comb by this age too.

Just an update that Winnie was a girl! In case someone out there is looking for info on their GLW!
