I brought home another bator today, have too many eggs for one and my second one is my hatcher. DH says, "whats this for" I said, eggs of course

He says, oh is the other one full?

My DH is awesome! He certainly indulges my obsession.

Good point but then she has to come up with a new bribe item to get the coop additions built. hmmmmm I got it...get him the TV and then wait to give him the remote until the additions are done.

Me: I know I said no chicks this year, but you know how happy chicks and chickens make me, right?

DH:

What'd you buy?

Me: Ummm...I found a really good deal on an incubator.

DH:

What'd you buy?

Me: Ummm...an incubator...but I need you to come help me get it.

DH: When and where?

Me: After my work at (friends).

DH:

Okay

Me: (thinking, wow, that was easy and painless, let's just go for the gusto!) Oh yeah...and I have chicks coming next week, too. And (friends name) is bringing 100 eggs for me to test in the incubator, she'll bring them by tomorrow while I'm working probably so can you go out to her car and get them for me please?

DH: (with the "I've been hosed" look on his face) Sure.

Guess being laid off and not having to do much for eight weeks has made him a rather mellow and agreeable fellow!
