Hey guys! I purchased a pullet at an online auction she was labeled as a True Wheaten Ameraucana. she seems the right color but doesn't have muffs or a beard. I'm assuming she's from some sort of breeder/hatchery because she has a wingtag too. The 3rd pic is the auction picture of her. What do you guys think?? Ameraucana or no??

I would say a very poor quality ameraucana.... maybe. I'd have to hold out and see if she developed a beard and muffs, which I don't think is very likely... and what color she lays.

also, what type of comb does she have?

To me, she looks like a pure Wheaten Ameraucana that is in a flock that ate her muffs and beard. It looks like the fluff from her face has been pulled out.

In the chick picture she has fluffy cheeks, not huge ones, but I think I am seeing cheek fluff.

Wheaten is difficult to breed true and clear. She doesn't have the best coloring, but she isn't that bad either.

Her feet look to have good color.
