Interesting. I don't know. Now I'm kinda hoping he comes back today. (Let's me get a pic and then leaves again FOREVER.)

Osprey's are large and should hang out in your area

Well thanks! I'm watching for him now. He's being elusive.

I have the occasional Osprey.
Are you close to a river? I'm only three miles from the Missouri so they wonder over every once in a while

I'm in a suburb of KC so I'm about 30 or 40 minutes to the river. Where are you?

Osprey and bald eagle are both fish hunters...think that could be a young bald eagle(before they get the white feathers)

it takes a lot of training and a special person to pick up on subtle cues to work with them. They are very smart, and very sensitive, and most of all, wild. Always. For those certain people who are good at picking up on what they are communicating with you, they can be easy to work with, but for others, well, lets just say I would not allow the average person in the enclosures with me.

I understand.

Well, I've seen it from the front. And it has a completely white stomach. That's how I spot it so easily in the trees. I look for the huge white chest. I watched for it all day and it didn't come back.
