i seriously need a new incubator, mine hatched, like, 2 out of 19 eggs... and it's made of styrofoam. my chickens would eat it if they got their claws on it!

Mine is a styrofoam cooler one and i hatched 9/14 ....

broodys are alot better i got 9/9 then 6/9 then 9/10. thats supposing you have a chicken that wants to set.

Anyone thought of monitering a broody's brain waves and putting different chicks in front of her to determine their gender?

Yeah, I have one Australorp that basically broodies on command, so I use her to hatch pretty much anything. It's a lot easier, because they do all the work, and no worry about power outages. But then again you're screwed if they get off the nest.... but I don't have that problem with Dell. She's a really good broody.....

Yep, She'll send me more after we see how my hatch turns out in a few more days.
I lucked out as some won't replace shipped eggs.
