My next set of eggs will be from the store bought eggs. I just needed an excuse to keep the bator on after cleaning. I'm hooked. How long do I keep the eggs out to reach room temps?

Hey, i run thro plenty of pages and i think if you keep your eggs 12-24 hours on room temp with the pointy end down before you set them in the bator, that will give a higher chance to develop.

I dont think store bought are fertal you need farm freesh eggs to hach and non refrigerated

Ooooh, ooooh, ooooh! I have been wanting to try some Trader Joe's fertile eggs, but I have to time the purchase of the eggs with an empty 'bator... (I would have done it with the batch of 9 eggs I just loaded but they were shipped eggs and I didn't want to wait another day, day and a half it would take to get the TJ eggs and let them warm up, first.)

I'm gonna have to follow this thread closely. I think I'll have a 'bator free during the first week of November....

I just bought the eggs. Really dark brown free range farmers market eggs. 2 were cracked so I opened. 1 didnt have the bullseye and the other had 2 white spots but I dont think they are the spots of fertilized eggs. I will still put in bator tomorrow afternoon.. I will keep updating and I want everyone to post their luck they had with store bought eggs.
