I totally got reprimanded on another site for using the term roo instead of Cockrel.

Yes I learn a lot. But they are extremely offensive. I feel like I need to get my dictionary out when I talk to them. But they know their stuff so if I am going to stay I need to get tougher skin

just inform them you are not mature enough to use the term cock, or cockerel, with out giggling......and you are trying to be serious.
