Trying to buy chicken in or near east TN

Anybody have any suggestions on where to get pullets in or near TN? We're interested in Rhode Island Reds and Buckeyes. Thanls. Betty

Hello fellow Tennessean!
Feed stores might still be selling chicks, especially Tractor Supply. I think Rural King sells chicks to, but there have been controversies about their practices.
People are generally selling chickens/chicks on Craigslist, though its less likely the chicks are sexed. Theres also a place called "Poultry Hollow" in middle Tennessee that sells chickens.
If you want to go the extra mile, you could always have them shipped to you from breeding companies like MyPetChicken, Murray McMurray, exc.

Thank you. I'm still checking around, but found Rhode Island Reds in OH, which I ordered.

I checked TS & the co-op yesterday, plenty of supplies, but no chickens. I still have a few more places to check on.

Where are you in TN?
