I think I can tell pretty well by the feathers, but just because this is mixed with a silkie, and it's so small, I can't see the comb by the feathering, I want to be sure. The mom is a silked EE, and the dad is a Black Swedish X Americauna for melanistic gene with blue eggs.

Is this a Male or female chick? It's a bit over 8 weeks

I can't really one handed. But my husband who works from home says he's hearing another crow other than our main rooster.

Hope this shows just how small this one is. I have some tiny hands. And that's the best I could get of the comb one handed. But of course it's always the one I like the most. Super cute. I think I'll confirm this ones a roo. I'll be looking for a new home for this guy.
