Trying to Decide

I LOVE my Orps. I have blue, black, splash and buff. Everyone of those chickens are so very friendly and I think they are quite lovely myself.

My Red Star is very sweet & has been since she arrived.

My light brahmas are always nice~~they would not even pick at me when they were broody.

Someone else on here said a few weeks ago that the California Whites very friendly as well so I think I wil try them sometime, hopefully.

As far as Hatching eggs go I would definitely take Cynthia up on her offer for the Barred Rocks YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Also Julie (Bammachicken) has the sweetest and most beautiful Rhode Island Reds. I would get some LF Araucana chicks from Jody (Hinkjc) they are so much fun and very active and inquisitive. They are also great foragers and free rangers. I adore my Brahma hen (she is from Ideal). I agree with your fondness of the Delaware, wonderful birds. Cochins make great mothers (mine are form Ideal and very sweet). You cant go wrong with Orpingtons of any color.
