Trying to get some Mystic Onyx chicks

Hello there friends!
I am reaching out to any of you who have ever gotten Mystic Onyx chicks from Tractor Supply. When were they available at your location? I keep calling every week to see if they have them in and so far they don't. I wish they knew ahead of time what they might be getting and when. I know I can order through the mail, but I'm really nervous about doing that. The 4 chicks we have right now I picked up at a local feed store because they did pre-orders so I was able to get some of the breeds I wanted. I appreciate any info you may have. Thanks!

This year I got mine from shiptons Big R. Last year they were only sold in an assorted st run tub with Asian Blacks as well

Rustic Rambler are similar (maybe the same cross?) Marans crosses with lightly feathered feet and super dark eggs & TSC carrys them too. When I was looking for Olive Eggers at TSC last year I just called the 3 within driving distance every other day until they had what I was looking for.

Yeah, I'm looking for chickens with all black pigmentation, including skin and beak. I love the Ayam Cemani or Svart Hona. However, those are pretty rare. I thought I'd at least try to get the Mystic Onyx since it is more common and easier to find. Meyer's Hatchery has a new breed called Fibro Easter Egger but again, I'm not crazy about ordering through the mail. I'll just keep calling the Tractor Supply stores I guess.

Just a heads up, some of the hens will have bronze necklacing amd males aren't black

Yeah, see...that I'm not crazy about. I had black sex links before. They were great, but I'm really looking for all black. I'm going to end up having to have them shipped or find a local breeder I think.

You can always get a few more than you want and sell any bronzed females. The males will be fiery colored featherwise though.

I believe 2 of the chicks I got from my TSC (Jackson TN) are Mystic Onyx. They are solid black with black legs and both have 5 toes on each foot. They are about 6wks old today.

Aww. I love them. They are beautiful! I ordered 2 fibro easter eggers from Meyer Hatchery and a black sumatran. I'm hoping the easter eggers will end up being all black. My local TSC (Southeastern PA) hasn't had Mystic Onyx's yet. I'm also going to be getting a mystery Meal Maker chick from Meyer Hatchery so that will be exciting too.
