So, I noticed if I leave the egg my hen lays around 10 or 11, she will lay a second one later. So I got the bright idea to place a golf ball in the nesting box so she thinks she always has one in there. Other wise she lays one a day, normally. I go outside and see she is in the nesting box so I sprinkled some treats and she jumped out and eat and I went to check the box but she got up there before I could open the back. So I grabbed a larger amount of treats and sprinkled it down and she was eating as fast as her little beak could pluck. I open up the back and found she hasnt layed a egg all day and has been trying to hatch the dang golf ball!
