Hello! I am the proud mom of two new babies! They're just at 4 or five weeks now, and I'm trying to figure out what breed they are (and what sex, if you're able!).
My parents got them for me at a local feed mill store and said they were both Araucanas -- but seeing as I live in the BFE I very highly doubt that. I do know that there's an Ameraucana (definitely Ameraucana, not EE) breeder somewhere nearby, and sometimes the chicks turn up at the feed mill (I do not know what my parents paid for them). My parents were told they were both pullets, but I don't know how much I trust someone trying to sex day-old chicks.
I think the dark one is either Ameraucana or an EE, but I'm not sure.
I have no idea about the red one -- it's very fiesty though!!
