I know, my pics aren’t the best & I may be off a bit on what the measurements are...my husband built it, doing all dimensions himself. I just stood & handed him things & held things. Lol. Inside the coop it’s self he says there is about 40sq. ft. He says in the run it’s about 120sq.ft. I only have the 4 chickens in the big coop, after I can get the other one in, it will only be 5 chickens total. I am going to keep the rooster separated in the smaller coop.I think for the coop inside u need to have about 4sq foot per bird...it may just be a simple space issue but I can’t see adding an extra bird would be an issue. U may just need to give it some time. It’s hard to see exactly how much room they have in the coop itself.
