Trying to introduce new pullets to established coop, 3 very bossy hens

:welcome

Hello, it's nice to have you here!

Chickens don't like change and adding new members is a big change to them. I've had good luck by locating new birds in a separate enclosure where the old flock can see them, but not touch them. That gives everyone a chance to get accustomed to each other. Once you do let them mingle, be sure there are enough extra waterers and feeders so no one gets chased away from food & water. And some places where the newer birds can hide can help.

Integrating can take time so be patient and keep an eye on them to be sure no one gets injured too badly.

How long have they been ‘look not touch’?
How much smaller are pullets? How many pullets? Coop size in feet x feet. Length of roosts and how many?
These are questions that will be asked to help you out.
about 2 1/2 weeks. pullets were coop ready, hens killed 4 of the 6 babies I introduced at first. Separated immediately. Now side by side, will not allow in coop.
