Red comb, spacing on pelvis, but messing in nests is the best indicator that eggs are imminent.Thank you! I learned something new. Well her comb is very red. Not sure about her pelvis. I will 'look' tomorrow!

If she's laying, her pelvic bones are spread.Even my layer seems to have a tight pelvis but she's laying either small eggs or long eggs, plus she is a tiny girl.
Last night was the first time she has messed in her nest. Good to know!Red comb, spacing on pelvis, but messing in nests is the best indicator that eggs are imminent.
