I'm still trying to find a good home for our 3 laying hens. I'm hoping to find a home soon, but will wait for the perfect fit.

We have 1 Delaware, 1 RIR, and 1 EasterEgger; all of which are about 2 1/2 yo, lay, and are very tame.

I'm not asking for any money, but want to be certain that they will not be used as meat chickens. I will even transport them from Kirkland (within reason).

Well, I don't expect you to hold them for me but if it is possible to, we could get them on the 13th, just need to get the space set up for them. We just moved to a place with some land in monroe and have been on the lookout for some hens

... If that works for you I will call this coming week for address etc. If not, I understand!

I'll hold 'em for a couple weeks. That being said, I don't want to hold 'em, hand 'em off, then get 'em eaten by coyotes because maybe you weren't as prepated as you'l like to beds.Bottom line is that i want to find a safe place for these hens.
