I'm pretty new to chickens and we've tried out several breeds so far, but just fell in love with mottled Houdans. I have a rooster that came from a breeder, and after looking on here for months could NOT find another breeder to get some girls from. I finally gave up on finding a breeder anywhere close to me
and ordered hatchery pullets to go with my amazing rooster. I'm going to try to very carefully get a line going this Spring, but I REALLY want to talk to some one with Houdan experience. I've bred horses long enough to know that there are a lot of thing you need to know to look for when you are breeding anything. There's so much for me to learn, and I'd really like to get some nice looking Houdans going. Can anybody help?!? If there's anybody on here breeding Houdans, and who would mind fostering a beginner along PLEASE, please help me out!
