Trying to start raising chickens!

I would like to get some eggs for hatching I hear RIR are good egg layers. Does anyone have any fertile eggs forsale or free? My kids are ready to see some babies hatch!

If you want good rir layers. There is a good breeder near pgh. He sells eggs and chicks.

Equine chick, do you have any contact info for the breeder near Pittsburgh?
I'm looking for a dozen or two RIR or BR's and would be happy to get older birds from someone close.
