Trying to think of a name for a male yellow lab puppy.

Oh, sorry, lost track of this post. He ended up being named Gus. He's an English type yellow lab. Barrel chest, thick legs, huge paws, and a big dufous. I really enjoy having him but he literally chews on the walls of the house and anything else. The only toy he has yet to destroy is a deer antler a neighbor lady gave me when I was out walking him.
Do you have any pics? Our golden use to chew on the wall we were told to take a bottle and put coins in it. And when she chews on something she isnt suppose to shake it. She hasnt chewed on anything but her toys since. And the kong wild knots are the only toys she hasnt destroyed.

Gus....cute.

as for the chewing, it should get better with time, at least it always did for our pups
It did for are golden to she chewed on the walls the flooring the rugs and even tried chewing on the table. She would destroy a toy in seconds and then we found a few tricks to stop her from doing that stuff. Also water buffalo bones helped her alot now she turns to those when she needs something to chew on.

I use empty water bottles with beans inside to distract my Shelties from barking. I call them beaners. If shaking them doesn't make them stop, I "bean" them with them, or try to. They are very determined barkers. My aim is not very good, lol.

The sound of beans or coins shaking is a noise dogs dont like. Our golden doesnt bark really unless she is really unsure if someone.

He chews bottles, too. He will drag around huge branches and chew them to bits. And when I am out doing yard work he grabs shovels, rakes, whatever and drags them away. He would use those as chew toys, too! He's pretty extreme lol. I will get some pictures, must transfer from phone.
