my mom and uncle are both in fla. mom is by sun city and my uncle is on vina del mar (an island by st. pete beach) neither one of them are real worried about this one (Yet!) because the schools are still opening and there are no evac warnings yet. it is still going to be a big storm but not as bad as it could be.... hopefully staying that way!

..yup..just saw it..he's right in the path...i hate this..every year..i get scared for him ....i was living there when Andrew hit...and we just got the backlash of it..and it was pretty bad...Bradeton city was totally shut down..all the store windows were taped up..he actually lives in Parish...in Manatee County...if i remember correctly..Gainsville isnt too far....man..its headed right to Tampa...i will pray for everyone...Wendy

Last time one came through here I was without electric for 10 days. I have a ton of candles so I don't need to worry about batteries. I have food and water stocked up I just need to go tomorrow and get some feed for the chickens so I won't have to go out in the bad weather. I'm so glad I don't have any incubators running I stopped just before we went on vacation. Then decided I would just stop for the rest of the year and I'm glad I did.
