TSC Augusta, Maine-Sunday August 1st!!!

Cat Water is my sister, and I am looking for the female Khaki Cambell duck. And I am looking mostly for a duckling. If there is only a full grown duck, I will consider, but I am looking for a female duckling if possible! I will be at the swap tomorrow, and most likely on the 14th please PM me if you have a female khaki campbell duckling. I might buy a partially or full grown duck, but it depends on the age, health, and price. This will be my first duck, so if anyone has advice, please PM me too!!!!

P.S. There are 2 years worth of FOOD for the snakes. She just said 2 years worth of for them.

Well, I guess I won't be going because the car is having problems.

We're running late of course. Hopefully some of you will still be there by the time we arrive!

Turns out the transmission broke on one of the cars and so now we're fixing up a "back-up" car.

Got back from the swap not too long ago. Thank you, Kim, for the chicks. I got a turken rooster about 8 weeks old and some kind of a bantam mixed hopefully female also around 8 weeks old. Bantams are new to me, so I guess I'll be doing some research.

It was great meeting you guys!

Bantam mixed, hopefully female:

got back around noon from the swap. sold everything i brought with me yay. sold 6 chicks and mother hen and 3, 20 week pullets to one person and 2, 5 week old chicks to another person. had a good day . nice to meet bob stano 40.

I got a turken pullet! *Squeal!* She is black with gold lacing and she is about 8 weeks old. I named her Yzma. Nut Lemon got two black Cayuga ducklings. I was wondering if I should quarantine the turken becuase she is still young. She is about the same age as my silkies. None of them are on medicated feed anymore. Does anyone have advice? Thank you.

Cat Water,
Yes you should quarantine about 2-4 weeks. You're worried about disease transmission both ways (new to old, old to new). Can you put the turken in with the new ducks so she doesn't get lonely? You don't normally want a chick alone.

Congrats on getting bitten by the naked neck bug, so to say.

Edited to add: and of course we need pictures.
