I bought some bantams form TSC but not sure what kind they are. What kind does TSC normally sell? They all have feathered feet and are yellow and brown now.

i got 2 silkies and i think a golden sebright and i'm not sure what my chipmuck chick is yet

my 3 week TSC silkies didn't really look like silkies at first either I have one with 12 toes and one with 9 the one with twelve looks like its got a lobster claw on both feet and i have to keep one of "her" toenails trimmed because it grows over the webbing of her foot and then grows into the webbing she doesn't mind it but i knew they were silkies because of the black legs/skin/beak and now that their feathers are coming in they are looking more like a silkie

all these are bantams with feathered feet

Silkies (though they will have black skin, black legs and a 5th toe)
d'uccle (mille flour maybe?)
cochin (could be a partridge)
braham

It looks like they all have a fifth toe. What silkies good for? Dont know to much about them.

My bantam chicks from TSC all have dark beaks and dark feet. The feet are lightly feathered and they have 4 and half toes. Three are yellow and three are kinded redish brown. I dont know to post pics up or I would. What are your thoughts as to what they mite be?

Silkies are the best broodies in all of chickendom! They are known to set and raise chicks from any breed, including pheasants and geese. The males have been known to set eggs also, and they also make fabulous pets. They are also popular exhibition birds. Silkies are very docile and sweet -- we love ours!

I have seen alot of pictures of silkies, but mine dont look like them. I am hoping somebody will chime in and help!

I got a bantam salmon faverolle and a sultan from TSC in the bantam bin. They both also have 5 toes, but they had light legs/beaks and were light yellow chicks.

Did you look up what partridge silkie chicks look like? Or buff? Those may be what you have.

I just brought home my four bantams from TSC. One of my little ones has fluff on the legs while my other three do not. All four are dark colored and one has a white chest. I'll post pictures of my little ones once I hit my 10 post mark.
