I think they are welsh harlequin and if so, one gold girl two silver boys? I have a flock of welsh and one of the girls has failed to hatch her clutch so I’m going to try to sneak these babies under her (any advice would be appreciated here). They also had a bin of KC and these were in a bin with something that looked like mallards/Rouen

I’d say WH but I would not attribute the colouring to the sex.

I know it just so happens that what appears to be the female also looks to be gold phase. More of a coincidence. I have both gold and silver in my flock so I can spot the difference now as babies.

I’m beginning to wonder is I have one welsh harlequin (the one furthest down), one black Swedish and one blue Swedish (or a blue and a silver) can anyone give me some opinions? Edit to include it could be runners but they’re too young to be standing upright yet.

I have some updated pictures… apologies for the poor pics, I’m usually much better.

One still looks like a female welsh. The other two are quite a bit bigger/heavier and do not look welsh to me (people on Facebook were saying I had 3 welsh). I was thinking runner or Swedish but as they’ve grown they haven’t started standing upright like I’d expect. Hoovers has blue, black and silver Swedish under one listing on their website so I’m thinking maybe a blue and a silver because I’d expect it to be much darker for a black.

The eye stripes are throwing me too…
