Which I know is truly just EE but *squeel* I was o get a couple EE and this is easier than ordering too many from hatchery: ) Cross your fingers there are still some there when I go tonight, and that I pick pullets lol- Any tips on pullets over cockerals?

If they're a few days old, go for the chicks that already have tail feathers coming in. Males get the tail feathers later. It's only a few days difference, but it's there. Also look for combs that are "smaller" than others. If they have the tail and a "small" comb, go for it.

hehehe the ones that I got from TSC that I thought were EEs (assorted breeds bin) they turned out to be Partriage Rocks and Brown Leghorns!!!!!!!!

I did however, get some EE and EE crosses from a friend and they turned out with green legs so maybe I'll get some greenish eggs this fall??

2 have greyish/greenish legs and one has orange lol, Lordy knows what I got but I did the best I could: ) Two are dark with the prettiest markings and one has markings mostly on her wings-They had the golden comets, black sex links and "arucanas" all in a straight run bin, I was loling-It was quite the setup

and all 3 have small combs with litte tails : ) ONe chic(the one with the orange legs) is a teeny bit bigger with a teeny bit bigger comb but also has alot more tail feathers so IM thinking it may just be a bit older??

It might be. Just to let you know, I hatched out some EE's 5 weeks ago from eggs I got from another BYC'er, and while they are pure EE's, one has orangish legs and one has a straight comb. The rest have various shades of green or turquoise legs. The one with the orangish legs is a solid white pullet. I'm sooooooooooo glad for that! And one of the roos has the straight comb. His feathers are coming in barred, but he's mostly white. They are beautiful birds and come in so many wonderful colors. Enjoy your babies. Post some pictures soon so we can see them!
