TSC Mystery Chicks? Told Speckled Sussex?

Also check out their combs for EE's its usally pea comb and the legs are a dead giveaway that they are not Speackled Sussexs.

I bought a SS chick and she looks very similar. However, my girl has pink legs. They could be a SS mix with the legs a different color.

I'm betting EEs I see alot of olivish colored legs and the puffy cheeks

Most EEs are chipmunks of various shades and colors and olivish legs and puffy cheeks. now you can find them in all sorts of colors of legs, comb types, and even solid colors. but when you get all 3 'typicals' - you gotta kinda assume EEs lol

I got those chickens like that and they said they were speckled sussex. I have some other chickens that they said were americauna. I will see what they are when they get older.

These are not my images.

Note the difference in LEG COLOR, COMB SHAPE, PUFFIER FACE on the EE
Hope this helps.

I picked up 6 chicks from our local TSC and they were Speckled Sussex....they look much like these birds, but mine have pink legs and and a longer stripe around the eye.

I was told mine came from Mt. Healthy Hatchery in Cincinati, OH

Oh my goodness! The first pic you posted looks just like my chick and we were told it was a speckled sussex. Your telling me it's an EE, right?
