TSC new brooders.

I am not liking TSC new brooders. Yes I bought some chicks and their all healthy. But not a fan of the new brooder their using all the chicks seemed huddle up and lethargic. I am curious to know you guys opinions on it.

I don't like the chicks on wire, its hard to see the chicks, and it doesn't seem like the heating worked

I liked the old set up. At my TSC the brooders where always clean and the chicks where lively

In the new ones, the chicks are sickly.

Curious to see next year if it improves, combined with better shipping

Mine was having problems at first but got them worked out. I personally didn't like it because it took away the old feed store feeling seeing them in the bins. But I think its working out better now. Plus it seems like there's a chicken craze goin on and the chicks aint in there very long and they sold.

Regarding the heating-I bought the heater that they use and I feel like it doesn’t got as hot as it should. My ducks have been fine with it but honestly I don’t think it gets even close to the temp it needs to be.
