Tsc Rant!!

I have heard many on here talk about TSC and how they don't know what they are talking about or that they aren't very good but I can get over that. What kills me is I went in there to look at getting some waterers and more feed for my ducklings I am getting soon.

I just had to go to the back to the chicks and duckling just to look of course and some didn't have food, just little crumbs and the ducks had wet matted litter and they were a little wet and smelled. I know this happens and I try my best to get over this but then this man reached in and picked up a chick and I thought it looked funny but didn't get a good luck and then my dad leaned over and said it was DEAD.

I watched the man put the chick back into the brooder and some chicks went over to it and kinda pecked at it. My dad caught an employees attention and told him about it and the guy said oh, went over there and scooped it out real quick turning it into his hand as he looked around like he didn't want anyone to see it. Now, I know why he didn't want anyone to see and I get it but it was still a little upsetting and I ALSO know that there are chicks that do die for whatever reasons but it still bothers me. I understand that the other chicks could have trampled it or something was wrong with it but...

I don't feel and have never felt the same care for their chicks and ducks as I do other places.

They have good supplies and options but when it comes to direct care I don't feel it is up to par as other stores.

I could'nt handle seeing something like that either.

I would have went off the deep end, and probally kept a going!

I just got finished filling out a complaint form to corporate office. If you are not going to take care of and treat them as living, breathing and feeling animals, DON'T SELL THEM!

The only problem I have had with them was when they were participating voluntarily to the nais project. I refused to give my name or telephone number to them, and paid cash for all. As far as the chicks go, it happens. Chicks shipped in large numbers, crowded into multiple feed troughs, handled by at least 1-2 employees per day not to mention the gaggle of folks who shouldn't handle them at all, things happen. And the way those stores are staffed, to have a truely dry clean enviroment for as many chooks as they are moving, they'd have to dedicate a couple of folks to just oversee and guard the chicks for the day. The highest count I've ever seen at tsc is 4-5 employees at once, and often times just the 2 cashiers and 1 person floating around help folks in the store. ('nother rant for 'nother day)

good morning

i called and complain about a tracter supply store in my area cartersville, ga store

they have nooo clue what kind of chicks they were selling s.r. chicks or assorted reds chicks because no one had put signs on the tanks

soo i told the customer service person at corp. what i thought about tractor supply selling chicks,ducks and rabbits

if you are selling to the public you need to know the basic information to help a customer take care of this animals


sooo as of yesterday i'm banned from the tractor supply in cartersville ga because i told the truth about the manager if you run a store know what you are selling

i spent over 3000.00 in that one store alone

i will never buy another thing from tractor supply again

i will stick with local own feed stores in my area

hi

i know alot of the employees in the store because some of them are my friends

the manager banned me from the store yesterday because he said i sent a email to tractor supply

i'm in the store all the time and i was tired of the way the store is being run


this is not the first time i've had problems with tractor supply

last year my name was used by a team leader for some returns on some cattle panel


sooo i know alot that goes on at this store that is not right

I think if TSC can't take BASIC CARE of their chicks/ducklings/rabbits during Chick Days, then they should just end the program. But then again, they probably make a good amount of $$ off of it, but can't SOMEONE in management or corporate see how the babies are being handled/ housed???
