Our day started out getting Tudy snuggled into the car. She's a bit short so we gave her a little "boost." Then we got her buckled in. Didn't want a chicken flying all over the van. We were sure to dress her warmly, as we were going to the Snowy Range. There's still snow up there.
She decided she wanted to roost in one of the trees, so I quickly snapped a couple of pictures with the Snowy Range in the background. Yes that's snow, and yes, it's August! Welcome to the Rockies!
After her flight to the trees, my 5yo decided it was time for her to get down. After a few moments of struggling to get away......
She calmed down and allowed him to hold her tightly:
