We found our hen in this condition after the hurricane. She had shelter along with her 4 coop mates. We have no idea what could have happened to her. She’s been isolated and we’ve been soaking her in a betadine solution, and spraying her bottom with Vetericyn. She’s also on antibiotics and electrolytes.

Have any of you seen this before?

This looks as if the skin on her abdomen split open widely, cause unknown.

This might be an injury slicing herself open on some sparp edged piece of metal or similar. Did you notice anything like that in her surroundings?

How old is she and when exactly did she last lay an egg?

No, there’s nothing sharp in their run. She is 3 years old and hasn’t laid an egg since last Monday or Tuesday. She’s been isolated since Thursday.
Should I try to push that mound of tissue back in?

What do you mean by "mound of tissue" ? The yellowish ball of fatty tissue?

As long as you do not know what caused it and the extent of damage done, I would rather refrain from pushing anything back inside, as it might have been pushed out for an unknown reason (perhaps unlaid eggs accumulating, a tumor or else).

I think that this case should be seen by an avian vet, in case a vet is an option for you.

This will be hard to keep clean, her poop is already soiling and thus contaminating the extensive wound.

How does she behave? This must be extremely painful for her.

I was afraid to touch it for those reasons.
