I have never been brave enought to try it, so let us know how it turns out! I have heard A LOT of horror stories of salmonella from the chicken not coming to a high enough temperature fast enough or long enough, so BE CAREFULL and good luck!

My hubby has meat temp OCD... LOL I'm sure he'll check it thoroughly

I'll let you know how it turns out..... once I figure out a third bird for the meal

LMAO I wondered if people would think that!

I had never heard of it before last night when on Ace of Cakes they had to do a Turducken cake for this 18 year old who's favorite word was Turducken. His mom would ask if they needed anything from town .... he'd answer "Turducken"... etc. I thought at first it was an imaginary thing..... but I looked it up and sure enough, it's a real dish! LMAO And it sounds delightful to eat! We're all big meat eaters here..... so I know it would be a big hit!

If only I had a meat duck still and a spare chicken. I'm pretty sure Guinea will work.... but I need something to go in between the turkey and the Guinea. (Apparently there is not a whole lot of meat to a Guinea)

I don't know if Guinea is good... but I saw it referred to as lean and rich on one site. I've got one male too many.... so I figure why not

I did see someone do it last year and they just carved out the white meat or breasts and wrapped one with the other and the other... and then tied them. They left some stuffing with a whole onion in the center when they cooked it. They had to cook for 6+ hours I think!?

It was a long process, and I was told it was 'alright'?!
