Turken Confussion

Good Morning! I got a two Turkens at Family Farm and Home store. I have showed pictures and I have been getting mixed answers. I am not allowed roosters in my township and only can have pullets. I will appreciate for someone to see if they can figure out about my chick. It is breaking my heart because I have no clue at what to do. Ride it out until someone rattles me in the county, re-home him or cull him.

This is Rose at 1 week old

Here at 4 weeks old

And this one on May 17th. She has a harsh voice but so does my Leghorn.

And this is her sister Sophia who is a week or two younger than her for reference.

You need to rename rose to something else like... Seth or Jim. Sophia it's ok

Can you get a side shot in good lighting to confirm? I believe this is a cockerel, but the pic will confirm.

ok, it took me a bit to go out and get her inside. Chick was so good for me that I took plenty of pictures. This chick is 13 weeks old. She is my T-rex because of her legs,
She does not have a bent down tail as other roosters I have seen and these I found on the internet last night of a female and a male and I believe my Rose looks like the female. Many people told me that they tend to have a big comb and waddles but the males are even bigger. I just need to be sure so I am not breaking ordinances.

Now , these are the pictures I just took of my Rose (or Ross) a few minutes ago. Hope they help. I tried to get every angle that I could think of that might help.

It's definitely a cockerel. An ad on Craigslist might be a good idea if you can't keep roosters, and we also have a section on here where you can post for a new home for him.

Yep, that's a cockerel. You can see his male feathers coming in, plus the rust leakage on the wings.

That’s because he’s young. A cockerel doesn’t hatch looking like an adult rooster.
