I got 2 turkens at the local Big R store. They are about 4 to 4.5 months old now. When I got them they had been at the store for a week or so I'm not entirely sure exactly. I was curious about the turken breed standard but have been unable to find it anywhere. I know that my birds are probably no where near show quality considering where I got them but I would like to educate myself. I breed and show Ibizan Hounds so am curious to see what a breed standard for a chicken is like. Bellow is Momo the wonder turken, so sweet and funny.

Hi! Pretty NN, but all I see as 'accepted' colors are black, white, buff, and red --- but that may have changed.
I can email the NN / Turken 'American Standard Of Perfection' to you so you can compare. It's interesting (not really interesting, unless you are a NN enthusiast).

Lisa that would be so great. I was thinking Momo's coloration may not be standard since the pictures of other Naked Neck's that I've been able to find are all of solid colored birds. My other NN is a buff. I mainly got them as pets and egg layers. Arial
