Turkey’s eye is closed

My female turkey has one of her eyes shut. She’s not walking around much either. I see her drinking though. My male turkey is being very protective over her and won’t leave her side. I’m not sure what’s wrong or what to do.

Looks like an injury to me. She either got pecked in the eye or ran into something. You can try using eye drops to see if it helps her. I have had hens get something poked into their eye and they were usually fine the next day without any interference from me.
